The Truth About Motivation No One Talks About

“I don’t want to come to your class.”

This came from a student who was earlier one of the most regular and active participants in my sessions. Then suddenly, he stopped showing up. For a moment, I thought I must’ve gone wrong somewhere. One day, I spotted him outside the classroom and asked why he’d disappeared.

He said, I don’t skip your classes because they’re boring. In fact, they’re too good. Every time I attend, I feel fired up… motivated. But that motivation fades when I step out. I don’t put in the work. So I stopped coming.

That hit me. And maybe it hits you too. Because this isn’t just his story. It’s the story of so many of us. We get m

otivated by a speech, a book, a workshop, a video…

It’s a spark. Feels powerful in the moment. But it fades. Sparks don’t change lives, consistent action does.

Without action, motivation is nothing more than entrtainment.

So how do you keep yourself moving when motivation fades? Drop it in the comments.
